More and more people enjoy making their
personal home video by themselves. Also many people expert to
record favorite TV programs or movies while watching it into
high quality digital files. To satisfy the demand, Prolink has
launched PixelView Video Maker which allows you to make
MPEG-II high quality video easily
Video Maker is not only a real-time MPEG-II
encoding card but also built-in a TV-tuner which supports for
the NTSC and PALTV system and gives excellent functions
including TV-in-a-Window, always on top mode and OSD function.
With the S-Video and composite video input, it gives you the
ability to read, edit, record and save their special videos.
While the video out function gives the ability to output your
files into CD-ROM, DVD-ROM or any available device.
The MPEG-II encoder designs
utilizing a programmable architecture with large RISC
or digital signal processors require a large die and
consume much power. A hybrid architecture uses
dedicated hardware units complemented by small
programmable cores. Programmability allows user
control over a large number of encoding parameters and
features such as the structure of a group of pictures,
motion search ranges and the output bit rate via
constant or single-pass variable bit-rate control.
In encode mode the MPEG-II encoder
accepts digital video and produces an MPEG-compliant
bit stream. In decode mode it accepts video elementary
streams or packetized elementary streams and produces
digital video output.
In the moment, the video editing is
getting much more popular. The editing has lots of
fun! Just capture the video into your computer, and
with a few clicks to make a cinematic masterpiece with
S/W and put on CD/DVD, email to friends, or publish on
your Web site. Video Maker edits signals at a level
that rivals studio quality movies, making the value
side very attractive.
(the enclosed editing software
is Video Studio 5.0 SE)
