Q1-1: Does PV-BT848P+ supports Windows NT4.0 and Windows 2000? --- (09/22/00)
Q1-2: There is no screen when I use the functions (Slid show ,16 Channel Preview, Save BMPSave Clipboard Preview) on preview mode on Windows 2000 system. My VGA card is nVIDIA M64. --- (09/22/00)
Q1-3: It has audio output when i turn audio format to "ST" and "SAP". The audio only output in "mono". --- (09/22/00)

Q1-13: I had difficulty get motion capture. it was frozen for whole capture period.

Q1-15: when using TV card + NV11 on VIA M/B with ME platform, the system seems unstable. When you see the TV and do any other task at the same times, it'll got windows error (blue screen).
Q1-16: I can't use D-camera on win2000 system

Common Issues
Q1-1: Does PV-BT848P+ supports Windows NT4.0 and Windows 2000?
A1-1: PV-BT848P+ only supports Windows 98 and not support Windows NT4.0/2000 or another OS.
Q1-2: There is no screen when I use the functions (Slid show ,16 Channel Preview, Save BMPSave Clipboard Preview) on preview mode on Windows 2000 system. My VGA card is nVIDIA M64.
A1-2: Please change the color depth to 32 bit to try again.
Q1-3: It has audio output when i turn audio format to "ST" and "SAP". The audio only output in "mono".
A1-3: You need to extra buy a module for that function ,t is optional .please contact out local agency to purchase it.
Q1-4: How shouldI do if my sound card hasn't "line in"?
A1-4: Please try "MIC" or other input source then enable them in speaker's properties.

A1-5:
  1. Pick away all device from motherboard except VGA and TV card ,then intall driver for TV card.
  2. If TV works well ,then setup other devices (sound card,modem,...)
  3. Please check IRQ of system resource.
  4. You need to install direct 6.1 or higher and motherboard's driver for North-bridge into your system.
  5. Please reinstall driver which download from our web site after remove original driver.
Q1-6: Why does it have no audio when I watch TV?
A1-6:
  1. Please confirm IRQ is works properly.
  2. Make sure to connect a line between Combo card "audio out" and Sound card "line in". And connect your speaker to Sound card "line out".
  3. Please enable "line in" of speaker properties (record & advance option) in task bar.
Q1-7: I can only use your software in Preview mode my VGA card is Riva TNT2 M64 VGA Card.
A1-7: If your VGA card is tnt2 series ,please set vga to "primary service only" in TV system configure.
Q1-8: The system will hang up when Ilaunch application program on my motherboard (all in one motherboard).
A1-8: Please change slot of capture card far away CPU .It caused by resouce of motherboard.As we know, the resource of slot that near CPU is the same with other device that on board of motherboard.(sound card, modem, VGA...)
Q1-9: Does it have any compatibility issue with VGA card or motherboard?
A1-9: It has some compatibility issue with Trident 9750/9850/9685 and S3 Savage 4 VGA cards and SiS620 motherboard. This is because they can't support TV Overlay mode. So you can't see video in Overlay mode.
1-10: When I finish to install the driver to Windows 95/98 and run TV application program, but there is no picture and audio?
A1-10: It maybe has IRQ conflict. Check your "Device Manager" whether has IRQ conflict with another devices, like SCSI card, net card or sound card. If yes, please change PlayTV Pro Card to another PCI slot to try again or adjust your IRQ address manually.
Q1-11: Does PlayTV Pro series Windows NT4.0 and Windows 2000?
A1-11: PlayTV Series supports Windows 95/98/2000. We don't release Windows NT 4.0 now.
Q1-12: I want to re-install my driver, how should I do?
A1-12: First, you should run uninstallation program "Tvuninst.exe" (On CD driver) to uninstall the old version application and driver. And then you can install the new driver.
Q1-13: I had difficulty get motion capture. it was frozen for whole capture period
A1-13: pls set lower color depth and (captured size) resolution than before
Q1-14: there occur scratches around the moveing object
A1-14: 1.The problem had fixed at driver ver sion 4.19. 2.seting the color depths under 16 bits 3.Don't set vga to "Primary Service Only" in "TV system configure" (if your vga is nvidia m64 chipset please change vga driver to 2.40) 4.To avoid working on VIA 693A North-bridge chipset .
Q1-15: when using TV card + NV11 on VIA M/B with ME platform, the system seems unstable. When you see the TV and do any other task at the same times, it'll got windows error (blue screen).
A1-15: after we update the VIA's chipset dirver to ver 4.24, everything is ok now. So, i I think the problem was cause by the old chipset driver conflict with TV's WDM driver
Q1-16: I can't use D-camera on win2000 system
A1-16: The D-camera can't support win2000 system .
